Evans have just developed and are about to launch world wide at The Recycling and Waste Management Show at the N.E.C. in Birmingham England 16th - 18th September 2008, a new low cost high performance shredder designed primarily for paper and computer hard drive destruction.
The machine mentioned, is the Evashred EV30E Shredder which has 2x 5.5kw motors to drive the cutters.
The cutting chamber is 300mm long and 315mm wide.
This shredder would be ideal for shredding plastic, electronic waste such as hard drives, mobile phones, keyboards and electronic peripherals. The EV30E shredder is also suitable for confidential document destruction with a maximum throughput capacity of approximately 450kgs per hour of standard office paper.
There is also the option of choosing a shredding cutter width to determine width of shredded product.
Widths of cutters available are: 8mm, 12mm and 16mm.
A feature of the EV30E Shredder is the built in overload detecting system to reverse the machine momentarily if an overload is detected.
The EV30E Shredder is manufactured with high grade durable materials, utilizing the latest in CNC machining technology for the entire machining process.
The EV30E Shredder is supplied with guards for personal protecting and has a standard hopper fitted.
For additional ground clearance, extension legs are supplied to raise the EV30E Shredder an extra 300mm if required.
The design of the EV30E Shredder makes it compact, taking up little floor space.
The floor space footprint is only 820mm x 1780mm.
The light weight of the EV30E Shredder at 700kg makes it easy to maneuver the shredder in a workstation, or if it is being used in a mobile application.
For versatility, cost effective, high volume shredding, the EV30E is perfect.
